Web-comic movement #25: The regular rantage of somewhat random information.

So, in this week's page, Rei is getting drunk. Although I really don't see it being that big of a deal, some people might not see it the same way. So, it should be known that we in no way endorse under-aged drinking (well, depending on where you live, Rei may or may not be too young to partake of the bottle). This is a tale of fiction (any likeness to any individual living or dead is purely coincidental... that's our story and we're sticking with it), that's it.

Okay, on to the Blue Man Group. The performance was outstanding. They really pulled out all the stops in the setup. The production value was unbelievable. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, go check out www.blueman.com. I would say to everyone to go and see their "Complex" tour, but as far as I know, the show I went to was their final show. You can, however, go check out their regular show, called "Tubes", in NYC, Boston and Chicago. One of these days, I gotta build myself one of those PVC pipe instruments...

I just found this, and I write like a girl! Well, so much for that algorithm. However, this might not totally be a bad thing. There have been studies that say that women's minds are more effectively wired for verbal and written communication. Well, All you bloggers out there can have some fun with it and see if you write like your gender or not.

Oh, before I forget, "Speak Like a Pirate Day" is coming up fast! That's right, September 19 is (somewhat) officially the say to converse in the dialect of a buccaneer.

Well, I'm still pretty tired from this weekend. I may have more to say about the Blue Man Group later...

Weekly WebComic Feature

Since I won't be using my rantspace for a few weeks, I thought we should put something else in here each week, instead of one stale rant. So every week, we're going to feature a webcomic that we think is pretty spiffy and that you should most definitely check out.

So this week it's:

Welcome to the Jungle... an urban jungle... complete with an impressive variety of human and non-human inhabitants. Singe (AKA Eve) doesn't exactly have an easy life, but she makes due by taking on odd jobs here and there. Things start to get interesting for her when an Ex-guardian (read: fallen angel turned mortal) blackmails her into letting him crash at her place for a year. (I know a bunch of you recently came from here, but for the rest of you, go check it out!)
