Joe: December 9, 2002:

So, we seem to have settled in to our new server pretty well now... Feel free to send more traffic our way. I'm sure we can handle a pretty good pounding (hopefully). More readers would be a nice Christmas present (hint, hint). We're still getting some hits on the old server (which is still mirroring everything) which means that some people haven't updated links to the new proper address yet (which is bonsaimechafactory.org).

Hmmm, so, I feel so dirty... I'm getting an X-box... and a mod chip. I'm going in with a group of friends on a bulk order. It's mainly going to serve as a MAME machine and a DivX player for fansubs. Well, I have some other plans for it too, but I think I'll plead the fifth and not list all my plans for it.

Well, this month is going to be pretty crazy for me, so I'll spare you all from a long rant this week.

Laura: Dececmber 2, 2002:

Ugh, what a week.

I must ask a thousand pardons for the missed update last week. It was my first one and it did not make me feel good. Just to recap, my scanner's lamp fizzled out on me last Sunday for the second time in the last year and I basically decided to cut my losses and by a new one. With the holidays approaching, and my personal health not fairing so well, we decided to let it slide for a week and omit the Thanksgiving special (which I'll try to make up later this month if I can). Anyway, the break's done me a bit of good. I needed it since I've been in a constant malaise for the past week and a half, and it was just nice to relax for Thanksgiving and hang out with Joe. We saw some movies and ate buffalo wings. I don't think there's that much else to do in South Jersey, but it was fun. I think Treasure Planet was the highlight of the week for me. I really enjoyed the visual style and the characters were fun.

I don't really have much to add to Joe's itinerary for the end of the year. We're winding down to the end of the first Issue which is a milestone for us, so we're excited. Hopefully, I'll also get my hot little hands on my very own Wacom tablet for Christmas, so it might mean that things will be able to pick up a little on my end.

Well that's all for now. I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and loaded up on that stuff in turkey that makes you sleepy. And one more thing:

It's Kikkoman!
Yound children and people with heart conditions may want to avoid this...just a little disclaimer so like, nobody comes back and yells at me.
